Black And White Christmas Tree

If you are looking for Black

and white Christmas tree decorations, you’ve come to the right place. This year’s tree is a flocked table Christmas tree decorated with black, white and galvanized metal for a more modern black and white Christmas tree.

For this year’s tree, I decided to change things drastically! I’ve always wanted a flocked Christmas tree, so this year I took the plunge. I stuck with the same tree size as last year because it really fits this spot in our living room so well.

This flocked Christmas tree was really cheap at Walmart for $27! It’s well flocked and prelit so I don’t have to worry about lighting. And as artificial trees go, this one is pretty full! The only thing I don’t like is the length of the top branch, so I folded it in half to accommodate the star bracket. How cool would this black and white is Christmas tree look with a black Christmas tree like this? So many possibilities.

Black and white Christmas tree decoration

Let’s start with the black and white ribbon! I did a poll on my Instagram stories a few day ago asking whats ribbon to use for the white flocked tree. It was between this black and white herringbone pattern and a white faux fur band. You overwhelmingly recommended fish bones, and you couldn’t be more right! It’s a nice subtle touch!

My favorite black and white Christmas tree decorations are these handwritten ornaments. Would you believe they were created with my handwriting and a Cricut? They are made from Cricut chipboard on a maker with the blade. If you have a Cricut, head over to the tutorial to make your own.

As I was brainstorming ideas, I was pleasantly surprised to find such an abundance of galvanized metal ornaments at Hobby Lobby. These snowflakes are a great addition to the black and white tree and decorative pieces. There were many more, but some were just a little too superficial. I ended up removing the blue gingham ribbon that was on these snowflake ornaments.

Another find that helped solidify

the theme of this year’s black and white galvanized metal tree was these metallic “Joy” ball ornaments from Target. There were also black “happy”, but also red and white. Believe it or not, these suction cups are HEAVY! A similar set is also available on Amazon.

The icing on the cake for this black and white Christmas tree decoration is the galvanized metal tree collar. I got this for cheap at Hobby Lobby! It’s only a little smaller than the tree’s feet are wide, but you can’t tell! The feet are actually tucked under the blanket while the collar rests on top for a finished look. This hammered black metal version on Amazon is a great idea for a full size tree! It even comes galvanized.

And I couldn’t resist putting my cute little camper from last year under the tree! Of course it’s not black and white, but it definitely goes well with the black, white and galvanized metal. It will also look nice with this year’s gift wrap made of white paper and black hand lettering!

Christmas is not all about red, gold and emerald.

If you are tired of these traditional color combinations, try other color combinations. Black and gold, fuchsia and tangerine, emerald and gold, all white or pastel colors are good alternatives to the usual. Today I want to share with you some different ideas that look whimsical and very modern: black and white. This timeless color scheme is not common for Christmas but looks so striking!

Black and white simply scream minimalism and modernity, laconic and chic interior design, Scandinavian-inspired accents. Black and white is a perfect color combination for a minimalist, modern, glamorous, Scandinavian or even industrial style; It all depends on what accents you add to the interior. If you think black and white is boring, you can always add colorful accents: red, emerald, gold, silver or pink.

Black and white Christmas trees

Black or white Christmas trees look great and whimsical. You can decorate black ones with ornaments and white ones with black balls. Find a unique Christmas tree in ombre white to blacks and decorate with contrasting or matching ornaments for a statement. Another idea is to take an ordinary tree and decorate it with black or white ornaments, garlands, signs and other things you like. I also love small trees, even in pots, decorated in this monochrome color combination. Looks too ordinary? Add gold accents and your tree will shine!
